CREATION OF A NEW
AMERICAN BRAND
I was tasked by Diageo to imagine and create a new, patriotic-themed wine, a wine that would evoke American celebrations and togetherness. The concept was sparked by a change in US labelling regulations allowing a wine’s appellation to be stated as “USA”; previously, appellations were required to be state-specific. I created the brand, from the logo and label to the cork and packaging. This entire product line continues to be a well-loved brand -- and not just on the Fourth of July -- and is available on shelves across the US.
